The first day of the 2017-2018 school year is Monday, August 7, but Chamblee Charter High School is holding open house this Thursday, August 3. It is suggested that ninth graders and their parents or guardians attend between 8:00 and 11:30 a.m. to find out what they need to know about the first days of school. Returning students are asked to attend between 12 noon and 5:00 p.m. A mandatory meeting for Move On When Ready students will be held from 10-11 a.m.
Actual registration for students who are new to DeKalb County school is online, and will not be conducted at school. The online registration application will allow parents/guardians the opportunity to navigate through a series of prompts to enter the vital information needed to ensure accurate school assignments and support services for their student.
The online registration pages can be found here http://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/online-registration/
Students transferring from one DeKalb County School to Chamblee Charter High School will need to complete forms. Links to these forms can be found at the bottom of the school’s website: http://www.chambleehs.dekalb.k12.ga.us/
