Beginning in October, a new member joined the staff at Chamblee Charter High School.

Roseline Ndumele, Chamblee’s Information Technology Technician (ITT), is starting at her second school in DeKalb County, after being transferred from Indian Creek Elementary School.

“[I am} taking care of the technology aspect of the school,” she said. “I’m here for Internet, computer, Chromebooks, everything technology.”

Ndumele has been working as an ITT for four years, since her college graduation.

“I studied information technology at school. I just love solving problems,” she said. “I love technology, so that’s the reason why I’m here today. I get to help students and teachers solve their daily issues or problems. [I work on] helping them use better types of technology and also helping their progress in education.”

For Ndumele, the transition into Chamblee has been smooth, and she is grateful for a welcoming team of staff as well as for the students.

“The students are great and respectful,” she said. “I still have more time to meet different students, but so far they’re great students.”

Beyond Chamblee, Ndumele enjoys working with the countywide ITT team.

“I love my ITT team. They are very accommodating, and they are very lovely people,” she said. “I feel more at home with the team I work with, like my managers and supervisors, and everyone. They are out there to help.”

In her free time, Ndumele enjoys bowling and watching movies. She is excited to continue as the ITT throughout the school year.

“Thank you to Chamblee High School for accepting me to be their new ITT and for giving me a smooth start, and thank you to the students and staff,” she said.
