Bulldogs v. Bulldogs: Chamblee Loses to Forsyth Central 43-10
The Friday night lights are back on, and the Chamblee football team extended its losing streak to 20 consecutive losses, with another loss to the Forsyth Central High School Bulldogs on Friday, August 23.
The game started off with a bang, as Forsyth Central’s team returned the very first kickoff for a touchdown, making the score 7-0 in the first 15 seconds. FCHS kept Chamblee scoreless until the second quarter, when they managed a touchdown.
Chamblee’s offense managed to keep the ball moving, but the defense could not keep up with Forsyth Central, leaving a final score of 43-10, closely mirroring last year’s game against FCHS which ended with a score of 42-7.
The Blue and Gold will post brief updates following every game. The next game will be played against Dunwoody High School on September 6 at North DeKalb Stadium.
