The Chamblee High School PTSA has announced they are awarding a total of $4,000 in scholarships to five seniors this school year.

For a chance at one of the scholarships, students must write a 500 to 750 word essay responding to the prompt: “How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted your high school experience?”

The PTSA is awarding $1,000 to the students in 1st through 3rd place and $500 to the students in 4th and 5th place.

To be eligible for one of the scholarships, students are required to be a graduating senior, have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5, be a member of the PTSA, and be attending a college, university, or trade/vocational school for the 2022-2023 school year. Students who are not members of the PTSA can join the organization for $5 on their website.

The deadline for applications is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022. Students can access the scholarship application here.
