I enjoy a lot of things in life, and life has been especially good for me recently. I have compiled an ordered list of some of the best things in my life right now. These 10 things are obviously not the only things that matter to me, but I have been appreciating them a little more than usual.
*Shoutout to Lydia Hong, Loren Cizewesk, and Shea Butter because they would kill me if I didn’t mention them.

# 10 – Skincare
There is something so relaxing about doing a set skincare routine. It makes me feel good about myself, and I feel more clean and refreshed. I also love trying new products to see if it affects my skin at all. Going to sleep without skincare just doesn’t feel the same. A nice face mask before bed sounds like an absolute dream to me. Even in the morning before school, I love doing my routine because it makes me more awake.

# 9 – Boba Tea
Whether it’s a classic milk tea or unique Thai tea, boba drinks hit so hard every single time. The sweet taste of the tea pairs so well with the chewy tapioca balls. The drinks are cool, refreshing, and offer a different texture to the same boring consistency that iced coffee and juice have. Not to mention, there are hundreds of varieties in color and flavor, so I can try something new every time. It is very easy for me to get sick of something once I’ve had it enough, so this wide range of choices will prevent that from happening.

# 8 – Being warm under blankets in a cold room
As the weather has started to finally get colder, I live for this feeling. When the air is cold, it feels more crisp and fresh. Blankets provide so much comfort, and I love the feeling of being tucked into one. It is much easier for me to fall asleep during the winter rather than the summer because of this. If you haven’t experienced this feeling before, I send you my best regards.

# 7 – Disney Plus
Disney Plus is hands down the best streaming service. From Marvel to Star Wars to nostalgic Disney Channel favorites, Disney Plus has everything I could ever ask for. It is more affordable than Netflix and HBO Max, while still providing the same large selection of movies and tv shows. Disney Plus is also set up very well; it looks very organized with the carousel selection guide.

# 6 – Stuffed Animals
Yes, I do still sleep with stuffed animals. Am I ashamed? Yes, a little bit actually. But, they are so soft and cuddly that I need to be surrounded by at least five to sleep well. I’ve noticed that I tend to wake up more during the night when I don’t have them with me. Stuffed animals are generally very nostalgic for me, so I love having them with me.

# 5 – My AirPods
I am constantly with my AirPods. They never leave my sight. Walking my dog? AirPods in. Finishing my Homework? AirPods in. Eating Lunch? AirPods in. It’s almost comforting now to feel the weight of them in my ears. If I do not see my AirPods case, I have to immediately stop what I am doing, and search for it. If I ever lost my AirPods, I think I would actually cry and scream for hours. I use them for everything involving sound in my life.

# 4 – Moony, my dog
I love my dog. He is such a sweetheart and I love seeing his little tail wag back and forth. I would rank him higher, but he is a couch hog, so he loses a few points on that. He also happens to be a little chubbier, so I can not pick him up even though he is only five months old. The reason for his chubbiness could be due to the fact that I absolutely can not say no to him, but you wouldn’t be able to either. He loves food, and playing fetch with me. Moony is absolutely adorable, and he will always be one of my favorite things in the world.

# 3 – Online Shopping
It’s an addiction at this point. I don’t know why, but it is just so enjoyable to scroll through rows and rows of clothing. If I had to estimate, I would say I buy around 7-10 pieces of clothing online a month. I do try to shop sustainably by using second hand sites like Depop and Poshmark. It might seem a little materialistic to rank shopping over my dog, but in all honesty, I probably spend more time online shopping than with Moony. That is sort of a joke.

# 2 – Tanaya Dave
Tanaya Dave, my good friend, should probably be first, but that makes me cringe, so I’ve ranked her second. She deserves a spot in my top 10 because she saved my life very recently. I’m not exaggerating at all. My hair was wet because it was raining, so I was squeezing water out of it. We were approaching a crosswalk, and I was not paying attention to my surroundings. My hair was covering my face, but I still decided to step on the crosswalk. Suddenly, Tanaya puts her hand out, holding me back from walking anymore, and a truck goes speeding past. I would’ve been hit by that truck had she not put her arm out, so I am indebted to her forever. She’s also incredibly funny and caring, so that adds to her ranking.

# 1 – Spotify
Spotify at number one may seem a little weird to some, but it will always be a constant in my life. I have always loved music, and spotify is my favorite platform for streaming music. I will constantly have Spotify on as background noise too no matter what I am doing. Spotify stats is also one of the best things ever created, and I check my top artists like every day. I love how Spotify has a massive number of playlists that other users have created. Don’t get me wrong, I love making playlists and naming them, but it is fun to see what other people listen to and like. I found a lot of my favorite songs by playing random playlists that had one song I knew on there. Another thing is Spotify’s social features are not as intrusive as they seem. All of my playlists are private, and there is really nothing that shows other people what I listen to on my page. People also can not see who has liked their playlists, which I am extremely grateful for. Some of my friends have superior music taste, and I just can not let them find out about that.
