He’s philosophical, sarcastic, and creative. He’s a writer, singer, and activist. Ehtan Sawyer is a true individual.
For as long as he can remember, Ethan has written. As far back as preschool, people have mentioned that it’s his writing stands out. Writing poetry and prose is a regular thing for Ethan. He says that his writing is inspired by his own life and the books he reads. One of Ethan’s goals is to be a published writer.
“I want to write a great American novel,” said Ethan. To go along with his frequent writing, Ethan loves to read. His favorite books are of the post-modern hysterical realism genre.
Ethan is interested in political activism. He has attended several rallies and has worked with voting reform campaigns. Ethan identifies himself as a leftist but doesn’t like labeling his political ideologies and beliefs.
Ethan is very musical. He attends concerts and listens to music for fun. Since the fourth grade, he has been a singer in his choir, the Atlanta Young Singers of Callenwalde. His friends and classmates say that Ethan is constantly singing.
“I just like to sing,” he said.
Ethan is planning on going to a political, arts-oriented college: McGill University. He says that, at some point, he wants to “bum around” the country and “experience things.” He also hopes to live in rural England some day.
