Many students after leaving Chamblee High School for the day go to Chik-fil-a or Starbucks to get food, but they are missing out on some of the best food in Atlanta. Just a short drive away on Buford highway you can find some of the best restaurants and bakeries.

Sweet Hut

This is the perfect place to go after a long day at school for a snack, boba, or a sweet treat. They offer a wide variety of foods such as sweet buns, savory buns, milk tea, fruit tea, mango mousse, and chocolate mousse. They also have a variety of fresh to order snacks that pair perfectly with a milk tea and a sweet treat. Their cakes are an amazing addition for a birthday and are light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. For anyone feeling down, this is the perfect place for you.

Lan Zhou Ramen

While this restaurant may not look like much (being located next to an exotic dancer clothing store), it has some of the best hand pulled noodles to find. When you walk in you can immediately smell the aroma of savory broth. They even have a window so you can watch them making them! They offer their hand pulled noodles in savory, rich broth or stir-fried. Not only do they have delicious noodles, they also have amazing dim sum options, such as their steamed soup dumplings and fried chive pancakes. The food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Their beef hand pulled noodle soup is only $12.95 (excluding tax)! This is the perfect place to go get a warming meal in the cold winter months.

Lee’s Bakery

Lee’s Bakery is a small little building in a small shopping center. When you walk in, to the left there is a day-old bin of their delicious, fluffy bread with an amazing price. They have the most filling and delicious bánh mi, which are Vietnamese sub like sandwich, made with either beef, chicken, or tofu. Not only do they have amazing bánh mi, they also have rich, savory pho, which is a Vietnamese soup dish. This is an amazing place to go for takeout and a quick dinner before going to any of the amazing events the high school offers.

Food Terminal

Food terminal is an amazing place to go for a casual quick meal, a fancier dinner, or even a date. They have a wide variety of food from quick bites to their famous Grandma BBQ Pork Tossed noodles or rice made with Grandma’s secret BBQ pork recipe. Not only do they have amazing food, they also have delicious drinks. Some of the great drinks they have are their strawberry peach black tea and their refreshing ginger.

Now go and try one of these amazing food spots instead of going to Chik-Fil-a for the third time this week!
